I'm a tutor based in Placentia, California. I obtained a bachelor's degree in History from Cal State Fullerton and my master's in Education from Hope International University. I'm currently a student at Hope International University pursuing my teaching certification to add with my other credentials.I have experience teaching secondary school students in History since 2001. I have taught at private Christian schools in the Orange and Los Angeles counties.Here are the disciplines I tutor: American History, European History, World History, Social Studies, AP US History, Religious Studies, etc.My favorite subject is History because, unlike other stories one reads in a book, the characters actually existed some time in the past, and their stories are real. Also, by learning and talking about what happened many years ago, we can learn from historical mistakes and atrocities in order to make better choices in our world today. History expands human brains in ways that other academic subjects are unable to do.When I need a rest from teaching and studying, I like to keep fit by playing sports, especially baseball. I'm an active member at my church, and I volunteer whenever I can. I also love spending time with family members.
